Description
Bus Pirate
The Bus Pirate v3.6 is a universal serial interface tool that speaks SPI, I2C, UART, 1-Wire and more from a single terminal, letting you talk to unfamiliar chips without building custom rigs.
It’s the classic ‘first contact’ tool for embedded work: sniff a bus, dump a flash chip or poke a sensor straight from a serial prompt. Broad protocol support and an open community make it endlessly useful on the bench.
Key features
- Speaks SPI, I2C, UART, 1-Wire and raw bit-bang
- Reads and writes many EEPROM and flash chips
- Terminal-driven with a scriptable interface
- Onboard voltage measurement and pull-ups
